MBE Single 1.75mm Extruder

QU-BD is proud to offer its first extruder, the MBE. This extruder is precision machined for reliable, fast and consistent extrusion. The design is based on taking the best parts from the Makerbot MK7/8 and Makergear Plastruder and mashing them together to make the best value in extruders on the market.

This extruder is extremely lightweight, compact and solid. By decreasing moving mass, the extruder can be accelerate and decelerate much more quickly, allowing faster and more accurate printing.

The extruder was designed for 1.75mm filament exclusively. 1.75mm filament requires less torque to extrude and allows more control over the flow of extruded plastic. The extra control produces greater detail and less stringing in your prints!

Each extruder comes in your choice of either pre-assembled or in DIY kit form. Generally the major components of the extruder can be assembled in 5 minutes or less with a little practice. Access to the Raptor Filement Drive Gear and filament after assembly is a matter of taking off 2 screws.

Our extruders are offered in single form or dual for EXPERIMENTAL dual extrusion! Dual extrusion offers the chance for 2 colors or two different materials to be printed. While getting perfect prints from two different extruders is more challenging than with one extruder, the satisfaction after a perfect dual print is AMAZING! Send us your pictures!
